Kochi: Following the IT raids in the homes and offices of Malayalam superstars, film producers making films with these stars are also under the scanner. As part of this, IT officials have begun to collect information of producers of big budget films.It is stated that the IT department has asked Antony Perumbavoor, who has a close association with Mohanlal, to submit budget-related information of his films and also to quote the source of income for his films. The IT department have collected all information regarding the films produced by Antony Perumbavoor.They are also probing if the stars are getting more remuneration than the amount disclosed in tax returns.
It is learnt that Mohanlal would come to Kochi on Tuesday and the officials would be able to complete the search only after he comes. The two rooms in his house in Thevara have biometric lockers. It can be opened only with the fingerprints of Lal or his wife. The bank lockers of both the actors are yet to be completed. After that Mammooty's statement would be recorded.
