Thiruvananthapuram : Opposition Leader in Kerala Assembly V S Achuthanandan will implead in the cases in Supreme Court related to the treasures found in Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple.Talking to reporters here, Achuthanandan today said he would implead in the cases, demanding a detailed inquiry into the issues related to termination of Devaswom employees who protested the smuggling of valuables from the temple.
'My comment against the Royal Family was based on the complaints from some employees in the temple.
'My comment expresses the views of the people who belongs to the temple,'' he added.
Earlier, NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair, State Rural Development Minister K C Joseph, State Finance Minister K M Mani and others decried the comment made by Achuthanandan against the Travancore Royal Family.
The NSS leader said Mr Achuthanandan should not have made such a comment against the Royal family.
