    Latest News from India - Only 8 ministers disclosed their assets: VS

    Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader VS Achucthanandan said that only 8 ministers from the Oommen Chandy government have declared their assets through website out of the 21 ministers. The first announcement by Chandy government after they came to power was that all ministers would declare their assets. VS said the asset details of chief minister Oommen Chandy, PK Kunhalikutty, Thiruvanchur Radhakrishnan and KC Joseph are not available on the website. During the last 100 days, the state witnessed the government blindly supporting central policies of rising prices. Due to increase in fuel prices, the price of commodities too went up. VS said bus-auto fares went up and a decision has been taken to raise the electricity charge by 25 paise per unit.
