Kochi: No decision has been reached in the talks held by Jacobite – Orthodox representatives and mediators from the Kerala HC on the Kolencherry church dispute on Wednesday. The HC team of lawyers said half of the problems have been solved and the rest is expected to be redressed on Thursday. The talks would continue on Thursday at the Ernakulam guest house. The team appointed by HC held talks separately with both factions. Later both the factions held discussions which remained inconclusive. The team also visited the Kolencherry church.Earlier, the district administration has sought the help of the Kerala High Court to solve the Jacobite Orthodox dispute regarding the Kolenchery church. The administration sought the help of mediation cell of the HC. The District collector informed the HC that the dispute has become a law and order issue.
The team also requested both representatives to end the impasse. Meanwhile, curfew has been extended for three more days in the area.
