Giving a winning ‘mantra’ to the party cadre, Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said that if they could win Assembly elections this time, Delhi would be within their grasp.
“This time it is do or die battle for us. Whosoever gets the party symbol is our candidate and the workers should work as a team to ensure his or her victory, because that victory would be crucial in forming Government in the State,” Yadav said while addressing party workers here on Friday.
He asked the party workers to go among people in the village to popularise the policies of the Samajwadi Party. “We enjoy the support of traders, farmers, Muslims and youth. In short, the Samajwadi Party represents the society in a holistic way. But a canard is being spread that the SP has no base in urban areas, which is false. Expose those who are spreading these lies,” Yadav said.
