Kottayam : Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said the Malnya Mukta (waste-free) Keralam Project would be implemented with mass participation.Conducting the state-level inauguration of ''Suchithotsavam'' 2011, Mr Chandy said waste management was the main problem before the state, according to a report of an expert committee.
''In the wake of the return of viral fever and other epidemics, we have to ensure waste management with the cooperation of all and with the support of modern scientific methods,'' he said.
Finance Minister K M Mani presided over the function. Revenue Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan delivered the speech
