Opposition BJP on Monday demanded an immediate session of the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly to discuss and remove the post-monsoon hardship faced by people of the country. The Opposition party claimed at least half of Congress MLAs, four Cabinet Ministers and others were camping in New Delhi since last four months to seek a leadership change.
“People are suffering and these Congress leaders are holidaying in New Delhi,” senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi and party general secretary Tapir Gao said.
The former Arunachal MP said due to monsoon, most of the district headquarters are cut off, medicines and essential commodities are not reaching the interior and border areas. But the Government in Arunachal Pradesh is now camping in Delhi, for caring for the people of the State.
