Thiruvananthapuram : The poll process to elect new office-bearers for the three-tier Kudumbashree units in Kerala will be held between December 20 and January 20.Announcing the schedule for elections, Kudumbashree Executive Director Sarada Muraleedharan today said new neighbourhood groups (NHG) can apply for affiliations till October 25.
The new administrative bodies will assume charge on January 26.
Elections will be held to choose the office-bearers for NHGs, ADS (Area Development Societies) and CDS (Community Development Societies) under the Kudumbashree mission that has over four women million members now, she said.
The NHGs should present the minutes of meetings on micro-financing projects and bank accounts for affiliations.
Only one member from each family, defined as per the constitution of Kudumbashree, will get membership in the units.
