Kottayam : Congress(S) Kerala unit president Ramachandran Kadannappally today criticised the UDF government for the present power crisis in the state.Talking to newspersons here, he charged that negligence on the part of the UDF government was the reason for the present crisis.
Referring to the move to enhance water charges, he appealed to the government not to accept the proposal to enhance the water charge.
The former Devaswom Minister appealed to the UDF government and the Devaswom minister to take necessary steps at Sabarimala taking into account the increase in the number of Sabarimala pilgrims every year.
A state camp of the party would be held here on October 21, 22 and 23 with various programmes. KPCC (S) members, Block committee Presidents and feeder organisation leaders would participate in the camp. The camp would chalk out various programmes to strengthen the party and its feeder organisations.
