Kochi: Kerala High Court acting chief justice C N Ramachandran Nair opined that the court and media are striving to bring out the truth. He was speaking after presenting the VM Koroth media award to noted journalist TVR Shenoy on Friday. Like the court, the media too is fighting against corruption and bad governance, he said. The award instituted by Tapasya Kalasahithya Vedi was presented in a function held at Bharat hotel. P Narayana Kurup presided over the function. KM Roy delivered the VM Koroth commemoration speech. Poet Rameshan Nair, Kerala Press academy chairman NP Rajendran, Janmabhumi editor Leela Menon, Hari S Kartha, MA Krishnan and Prof CG Rajagopal also attended.
TVR Shenoy in his reply speech said that the cash prize of Rs 1 lakh would be donated to Balavyasamandiram in Veda Vyasa's birthplace in UP.
