MPCC vice-president Abha Singh presented bouquet to the women pilgrims on behalf of the State Congress president.

Bhuria also took the occasion to pray from Allah to accept the pilgrimage and fulfil the desires of the pilgrims reaching in recourse. He requested the pilgrims to pray for prosperity, brotherhood and peace in Madhya Pradesh during their pilgrimage from the holy land of Mecca - Medina.

The State Congress president also enquired from the pilgrims about the lodging and boarding problems at the transit point. He demanded from the State Government that a full fledged Haj house should be prepared in the State capital.

Bhuria, also a former union minister said that the problems of the Haj pilgrims could be solved only with the construction of a permanent Haj House, hence the State Government should immediately start construction of a Haj house at appropriate place both in the State capital and the other embarkation point of the State, Indore.

Efforts should be made in such a way that from next year onwards the pilgrims could be sent from the new Haj houses from both the embarkation points of the State, he added.
