    UAD Minister tightens noose on encroachments

    Urban Administration and Development (UAD) Minister Babulal Gaur on Saturday issued instructions to strictly remove the encroachments causing hurdles in the development works.

    While reviewing the progress of development works in the State capital, Gaur instructed the officials concerned to establish coordination in the various development works and to finish them at the earliest.

    He instructed to act strictly for the implementation of polythene ban in the city, to remove out of use vehicles parked opposite police stations and other places and to remove the encroachments causing hurdles in the development works.

    He issued to shift the dairies running in the limits of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation, removing of Dhobi Ghat from the Motia talab, to take action against the sand trucks parked besides Hoshangabad Road and to start action for relocating the saw mills from Bharat Talkies to Pul Bogda.

    He issued instruction for removing encroachments from the Motia Talab, Nawab Siddique Hasan Khan Talab, Lendia Talab and encroachments besides the road from Bhopal talkies to DIG Bungalow.

    He issued instruction for relocation of the slums from Habibganj crossing to DRM Office via Bajrang Market leading to Barkheda Pathani by pass as they were creating hurdles in the construction of the road.

    The UAD minister also issued instruction to take strict action against the sand trucks parked near about Ahmedpur on the Hoshangabad Road and also to construct sand market outside the BMC limits as the sand trucks causes' lot of problem in the city traffic.

    Gaur instructed the officials concerned to prepare plan for electronically operated bus on the no vehicle zone of the Boat Club and Van Vihar. He also issued instruction for the construction of parking place in the Chow Bazar of old city, for this property should be marked at the earliest, he added.
