Junior judo players will leave from SAI Regional Centre Bhopal on October 29 to take part in the World Judo Championship to be held at Cape Town, South Africa from November 1 to 7.
A total of five girls and two boys, along with two national coaches, are in the team of Indian judo players participating in the championship. Indian judo players are practicing at SAI regional centre from October 17 for the preparation of judo championship.
Director of SAI regional centre RK Naidu extended best wishes to the players and coaches of Indian team for the championship.
Veerbhan Singh (60 kg) and Avtar Singh (81 kg) are the boys representing the team of Indian judo players whereas H Dhanpiarya (44 kg), M Kutuja (48 kg), Sushila Devi (52 kg), Suni Bala (70 kg) and BR Sangeeta (78 kg) are the girls there. Surinder Singh and Virender Singh are the coaches of the Indian team.
