After years of dilly-dallying, the Delhi Government finally dropped its plan to run two super speciality hospitals on PPP mode as no shortlisted private company came forward for the venture.The construction of the hospitals at Janakpuri and Tahirpur was completed in 2009, but they were yet to be operationalised as Government had decided to run them on PPP model. Chief Minister Sheila Dik**** has decided to shelve the earlier plan and instead asked the Health Department to run them. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting on Monday.
