Harswaroop Singh superannuated from Government service on October 31, 2011 after serving in Delhi Government for over 40 years. Singh, popularly known as ‘Chacha’ among his colleagues, had been employed in the office of Minister of Transport and Education for more than 10 years. Singh had joined his service in the year 1973 and worked in different departments of NCT Government. He was a willing, hard worker and honest Government servant.
