Former Gujarat House Speaker passes away
Former Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, Mangaldas Patel died on Tuesday at his Gandhinagar residence. He was 69. Patel, who was the BJP legislature from Mansa in Gandhinagar district for three terms, had complained of chest pain in the morning and was rushed to the hospital and where he expired. The former Speaker is survived by his wife, son and four daughters.
Chief Minister Narendra Modi, his Cabinet colleagues, Leader of Opposition Shaktisinh Gohil and GPCC president Arjun Modhwadia paid tributes to the former Speaker of the Assembly.
