An estimated 20 per cent electorate cast their votes till noon in Laukaha Assembly bypoll in Bihar’s Madhubani district. Polling was done in a peaceful manner.
An estimated 2.62 lakh people cast votes. The bypoll was necessitated by the death of sitting JD(U) MLA and Panchayati Raj, EBC and MBC Welfare Minister Hari Prasad Sah.
