Modi gets invite to visit Karachi
Just a month after his successful visit to China, Chief Minister Narendra Modi has now receieved an invitation from Pakistan, the neighbouring country which was the target of his verbal attacks whenever he spoke against terrorism during the run-up to the Assembly elections in the State.
Impressed with Gujarat’s development, the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday invited Modi to visit Pakistan and address the country’s corporate heads through video-conferencing.
A Pakistani business delegation, which came here to attend the Asia Colour Chemicals Mega Exhibition being held in the city, met the CM and called for exploring greater co-operation in trade and industry between Gujarat and Pakistan.
