Scindia calls on Chouhan, talks Centre-State ties
Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industries Jyotiraditya Scindia called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday. Chouhan greeted Scindia by presenting a bouquet.

Both the leaders discussed several issues for over 25 minutes at the Chief Minister's house; details of the meeting were not made public.

If sources are to be believed, Scindia discussed various issues with the Chief Minister including the dispute of the Vidisha Engineering College, inclusion of Gwalior in the Delhi-Mumbai corridor and poor condition of roads among others.

Scindia who reached the Chief Minister's House after a long time on Shivraj's invite also took the occasion to lodge complaint regarding working of some of the Ministers and advised the Chief Minister to stay away from levelling charges at the Centre. He asked him to take assistance from the Centre instead.

Sources said that the Chief Minister discussed the poor condition of national highways passing through the State with the Union Minister besides non cooperation of the Centre in establishing new industries in the State. Scindia assured him of all possible help from the Centre.

Soon after meeting Chief Minister, Scindia reached Hotel Noor Us Sabah Palace where he met Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee president and MP Kantilal Bhuria and Union Minister of State for Surface Transport and National Highways Tushar Chaudhary. Later, the trio left for Sagar where the bhumi pujan for construction of roads worth over Rs 100 crore was done.
