Bal Bhavan School observes annual sports day
Bal Bhavan School observed its Annual Sports Day on Saturday at TT Nagar Stadium.
The chief guests for the occasion were Sanjay Gupta couple, parents of Head Boy. The event began with a speech by the Head Girl Prakrati Pandey welcoming the chief guest as well as the parents. The students of Ashoka, Vikram, Siddharth and Akbar Houses along with the NCC squads marched on to the beats of the school band.
A number of races like the lemon race, jalebi race, garland were organised for the primary students testing their speed and coordination skills. The school showcased the various activities undertaken by the Aerobics, Gymnastics, Karate and Yoga through interesting routines which were highly appreciated by the parents.
An entertaining Hindi play Bada Bhai from the Upanyas of Premchand was played by students. Apart from the Hindi play, classical dance, instrumental music and fusion dance programmes highlighted the students' proficiency in various co-curricular activities.
