Labourer crushed to death by DTC bus
A labourer was crushed to death by a DTC bus in his attempt to save a woman who suddenly had come in front of the bus.
The incident has been reported from the Rajender Place area of Central Delhi on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Sarwan Kumar (33). The erring driver of the DTC bus plying on the route from Mori Gate to Uttam Nagar has been arrested by the police.
A police official informed, the incident took place around 11 am on Monday at Pusa road near Rajendra Place in Prasad Nagar area of central Delhi. Sarwan Kumar had to pay with his life for saving a woman walking on the road. The woman was talking on the phone while crossing the road near Metro pillar no 176 of Rajender Place Metro station.
