NCR malls, pubs ‘sought-after’ New Year partying hubs
With yet another New Year new round the corner, the city is excited and busy with New Year preparations and offers. Talk of the New Year and many will jump to tell you where they are going to party. Although the city remains a host to several celebrations, the most sought after destination for partying has become the NCR cities of Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad where several malls and pubs have come up.
Some will rush to hotels and pubs; others will turn their homes into party hubs. So, come December 31, everyone will be binging, drinking and dancing into the wee hours. Delhi will be bedecked with lights and the true ‘spirit of happiness’. As Delhiites gear up to herald the coming year, the city pubs, restaurants and discos are busy trying to outdo each other with spectacular parties, concerts and events to attract the discerning Delhiites.
If you want to dance and drink the night away, there are a number of nightclubs that have promised to stay open beyond 1a.m. Apart from the pubs from Gurgaon and Noida, the Central and South Delhi pubs have a lot to offer. The average cost ranges from Rs2,000 to Rs15,000, depending on what’s being an offered. Pandemonium in Chhattisgarh has Hard Kaur performing in addition to a dance floor and DJ with unlimited drinks at a cost of Rs4,000.
Most discos also said that since the passes are already sold, it is better to plan the evening well in advance to avoid disappointment. The city has a lot of hotels that have planned their New Year packages keeping families in mind, including weekend packages too. Restaurants come cheaper at around Rs4,000 to Rs5,000 to comparatively expensive ones ranging upto Rs10,000.
Most five-star hotels are also offering the buffets accompanied with ghazals, live popular bands, famous celebrity singers and dance floors with the DJ’s. The cost depending on the liquor offered or the performances varies from Rs3,500 to Rs17,000.
A number of hotels have already registered substantial bookings. Enquiries about special arrangement for parties will also have to be made well before ‘The Day’. Restaurants and hotels suggested that it’s better for people to enquire regarding the parking facilities as special space has been marked for parking.

Alongwith the best DJ, the couples, groups will be offered with unlimited main course food and alcohols on the purchase of Rs5,000 and Rs8, 000 per couple entry. Stag entry will be allowed in the pub.”
