NIA gets transit remand of Samjhauta accused
The National Investigation Agency has obtained transit remand of the Indore-based man, arrested for his alleged role in the 2007 Samjhauta express blast case, from Chief Judicial Magistrate here on Monday.
Kamal Chouhan, believed to be a close aide of Ramji Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange, key accused in the case, was arrested on Sunday.
The NIA team, after getting transit remand from CJM took him to Panchkula, sources said.
The agency had already charged Swami Aseemanand, Sadhvi Pragya, Sunil Joshi (now dead), Sandeep Dange, Lokesh Sharma and Ramchandra Kalasangra alias Ramji for triggering the explosions in the Samjhauta Express on February 2007 in which 68 people were killed.
