Maha Bodhi Temple case: SC issues notice
The Supreme Court on Friday sought response of the Centre and the Bihar Government to decide whether a Hindu can be the chairman of the famed Maha Bodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya and the managing committee dominated by Hindus instead of Buddhists. A bench of justices Altamas Kabir and SS Nijjar granted four weeks time to the Centre and the State Government to respond on the issue and said it was keen on “resolving” it.
