Haryana Speaker suspends all Opp MLAs for session
The Haryana Assembly Speaker on Monday suspended all the 29 members of the Opposition Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and the lone MLA of its ally Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) for the remaining part of the ongoing Monsoon Session.
The Opposition MLAs were stalling the proceedings of the House even after three adjournments of the House on a single day. Earlier, the House also passed a condemnation resolution against Leader of Opposition Om Prakash Chautala for using an unparliamentarily word against Speaker Kuldeep Sharma and refusing to withdraw it after the Chair’s directive in this regard.
Later, the Speaker also ‘reprimanded’ INLD member Abhey Singh Chautala, who was not present in the House due to his suspension.
