Passenger Rehalai Chellai, who was also arrested, has also admitted to smuggling gold. They revealed this to Revenue and Intelligence officials during interrogation.br /The two admitted to have smuggled gold via the Chennai, Kochi and Kozhikode airports. The Revenue Intelligence revealed that both had smuggled gold amounting to Rs 11 crore from July onwards.
