The state convention to be held on November 17 and 18 in Kozhikode will recognize the constitution and programmes of the new party.pRMP was formed by CPM rebels after CMP was formed in 1986 by M V Raghavan and JSS by KR Gowriamma in 1994. Left Ekopana Samithi formed by KS Hairharan and team and Thalikkulam communist party formed by SFI former state joint secretary and TL Santhosh will merge with RMP.
