    Breaking News: Varkala Radhakrishnan Passed Away

    Varkala Radhakrishnan, senior CPI (M) leader and former MP passed away. The end came a few moments ago at medical college here. Mr Radhakrishnan was seriously injured as he was hit down by a speeding milk lorry, two days ago. He was 84. An accomplished lawyer-turned-politician, Radhakrishnan hails from Varkala.

    He was placed in the ventilator and doctors attending on him had expressed anxiety. Mr Radhakrishnan had served as the Speaker of Kerala Assembly. He was elected to the state assembly four times.
