Thrissur: The condition of an American evangelist, arrested for violating visa norms and was later shifted to a government hospital after he complained of a chest pain, is stable. Condition of US evangelist William Lee is stable, said officials of the government medical college hospital here Monday.
Lee was admitted to the hospital yesterday after he complained of chest pain, they said. The preacher, who had come to Kerala on a tourist visa, was arrested on October 15 in Kochi for violating visa norms by addressing a gospel convention.
