    Kottayam to host meet on wetland

    The School of Environmental Sciences at Mahatma Gandhi University will organise ‘Lake 2012’, the 8th Biennial Lake Conference, from November 6 to November 9. The programme will focus upon the conservation and management of wetland ecosystems.

    The national conference is being organised in association with the Energy and Wetlands Research Group; Centre for Ecological Sciences; Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; and the Advanced Centre of Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development, Mahatma Gandhi University.
