The year 2006 ended on a mixed note for Trisha.
There were two big flops and one big hit- 'Pournami', 'Sainikudu' and 'Stalin' respectively. Still, it looks as if she is the most promising material this year. There are reasons for this observation.
Nayantara is into big time damage-repairing after the much-publicized 'romance' with Simbu ended abruptly. She is still going strong in Telugu right now but her career in Tamil will bounce back only after 'Shivaji' gets released.
Ileana, the other contender, had been on the receiving end of bad remarks due to her very slim frame. Her biggest advantage is- she had a phenomenal year end with 'Rakhi'. The film is all set to become a box office hit. There is no news yet of any big projects this year.
