Navya eyes various kinds of roles

Her penchant of doing offbeat films and performance-oriented roles is taking Navya Nair far. She has time and again demonstrated her interest to do meaty lead roles in substantial films refraining herself from glitz and glamour of showbiz. To this she just has to say, "It is not my forte. I want myself to be remembered as an actress who does various kinds of roles.? After wooing and winning laurels in Tamil cinema with her performance, she now eyes Malayalam film. And she gets another coveted chance to evince her artistic skills. She has bagged a Malayalam film in the lead role opposite Mammootty to be directed by Padhmakumar at the end of this year.

Her recent film ?Aadum Koothu? was screened at the International Film Festival and won her acclaims from all quarters. She is at present working in the Tamil movie ?Mayakkannadi?.
