I?m very happy person: Sneha

Sneha appeared bright and beautiful as she arrived for a casual meet with the press on January 6 at the Andhra Club in Chennai. Very politely and pleasantly she answered all the queries that were made to her. She said that her strength lies on her hard work, family support and love of her fans. Within a very short span of time she has been able to carve a niche for herself in the South Indian films with successful commercial films in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu, which have also won her critical appraisal. She also adds that she is proud with her role in Selvaraghavan?s ?Puthupettai? and to be a part of Malayalam film ?Thuruppu Gulan? opposite Mammootty, which was one of the biggest hit of the year. This is what she had to say about herself and her works. ?I?ve always maintained that my claim to fame is my work and not my private life. Honestly I?ve stopped looking at film magazines as last year, there were couple of not-so-sweet experiences which were blown out of proposition by the media.?

She is often seen in two or more heroine?s film. Isn?t she confident enough to do a solo actress role? ?At a time when top actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai can do a film together, why can?t we do the same in Tamil? I don?t see anything wrong in sharing screen space with other actors as long as my character has some meaty scenes.? And how does she face competition from the new entrant in the industry? ?How can I be insecure when I don?t have time to breathe? Insecurity stems from the kind of person that you are. I?m very happy person. I?ve no time to really catch up with friends, as I?m busy with Telugu films.?

After the interview she is supposed to head off to a village in south Tamilnadu to shoot for Thangar Bachchan?s ?Pallikoodam? where she would be seen without makeup in an interesting role. She also has ?Nan Avanillai? with Jeevan coming up.
