And, surprise, surprise! With only a handful of films to her credit, Asin has won the polls!
She made her debut in Tamil with 'M Kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi'. Her next big hit was 'Ghajini'. Since then, there were ups and downs as far as the number of films was concerned, but she remained very popular among the film-going audience. Her recent Telugu film, 'Annavaram' is going very well. 'Varalaaru' with Ajith turned out to be a box-office blockbuster.
She is Vijay's heroine in the Pongal release 'Pokiri'.
