Jayashree, introduced by veteran director Sridhar in Thendralae Ennai Thodu, went on to play the lead role in over 25 films. Married to a software engineer, the actor bid bye to acting and chose to settle abroad.
After a decade, she is back in Chennai now. The yesteryear actor is now roped in by a prominent television channel to host a game show.
Says the actor, ?I am happy to be back here, to be able to meet my fans. It is an opportunity that came knocking at my doors and I did not want to miss it.?
Asked whether she would make a comeback to acting, Jayashree says, ?Why not? If I come across a good script and have ample scope to perform, I would not hesitate to act.?
She will be off to USA next week. But well, she is hopeful of coming back to Chennai soon.
