The Shilpa-Jane Goody issue is becoming a film!
Cinema people usually make a tiny spark into a full blown fire. What happens when they get a small molehill? They will make a mountain of it!
Thanks to the umpteen TV channels telecasting the unpleasant episode of Jade Goody calling Shilpa names, the whole episode attracted attention on an international scale. Jade Goody was eliminated from the TV show and her job now seems to be apologisiong on every TV show she's on.
Director Sashilal Nair wants to make this unpleasant episode into a film. He has held separate talks with Shilpa's mom and Jade's assistant. His aim is to make Shilpa and Jade co-star in the film. If they have a problem, he wants to cast actresses who look like them. Whatever be the case, he wants to bring Big Brother to the big screen.
The Shilps-Jade issue is a racist one and a film would create tensions, is it not? Shashilal responds," But I'm not going to make it a serious film, it's going to be a comedy!"
