Meera Jasmine loves to visit temples in whichever place she is in. Being a Christian, she created a furore when she entered an orthodox Hindu shrine in Kerala. She had to pay for the cleansing rituals and got herself out of that mess.
Meera Jasmine has come to Gingee for the shooting of 'Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram.' Director Suresh Krishna has shot scenes of Dhanush and Meera here.
After completing her shooting, she went around 9pm to the Thiruvannamalai temple. Clad in a sari, she paid obeisance to the lord. As soon as people heard Meera Jasmine had come to the temple, she was thronged with devotees and reporters. She gave autographs and answered questions of reporters.
They naturally asked her about the gossip of her having married SJ Suiryah. She said she had no plans of marriage in the near future and even though she is acting in many languages, she gives priority to acting in Tamil films. She said Rajini is her favorite actor.
Meera Jasmine prayed to Annamalai and also said that 'Annamalai' was her favorite actor!
