Beauty queens are full of controversies these days. Take Ms South India for example. She was in for a rude shock when the cops picked her up in connection with the offense of prostitution. Another TV actress was arrested with her.
But later it turned out that Ms South India was in the premises because she was told that an audition was on for a new film. She claimed that one of the key persons arrested that day had told her that he'd get her the lead role in a film and he had brought her to the house to conduct a camera test. She said that she was not aware of the real intentions behind the man who had brought her there.
The arrests took place in Chennai.
She was later let go. The TV actress too was not charged.
