Gopika is acting in 'Veerappu' with Sundar C. It's the Tamil re-make of Malayalam film 'Spatikam' and Gopika has shot continuously for 10 days for that. Three days back, she took off to her native Alapuzha in great haste.
Why this hurry? It was her birthday! And Gopika is a family oriented person and she wanted to spend her birthday with her parents and other family members. For this, she drove from Nellore to Madurai, took a flight to Chennai, another flight to Kochi and then drove to Alapuzha.
Even as we are panting from Gopika's itinerary, she landed in her home around midnight. But she took her parents and relatives to a star hotel and gave a lovely birthday party.
Many stars celebrate their birthdays by cutting a cake on the shooting spot, and among them, Gopika seems to be a star with a difference!
