Prabhudeva's first film as a director in Tamil, 'Pokiri' has become a massive hit. The choreographer-turned-director is now getting ready for his next project with Megastar Chiranjeevi. This one is the remake of 'Munnabhai's sequel.
Vidhya Balan was initially brought in as the heroine. But she had walked out because she wanted to concentrate on her films in Hindi.
However it looks as if the people behind 'Shankardada' sequel aren't that ready to let go of her. There are rumors that attempts are still on to convince her to accept the role. Many believe that this is the reason for the delay in the film's launch. The rumor looks very convincing because for some reason, neither GFC nor Prabhudeva is talking anything about other heroine alternatives.
Vidhya Balan will soon start working in the Hindi version of the original film of 'Chandramukhi', the Malayalam film 'Manichitrathaaz'.
