Dileep as mentally challenged

Don't get panicky about your favorite star after reading this heading. What we are talking is actually about his new character in the film directed by debutant director Thomson. The film presents Dileep as an inmate of a mental hospital.

The scripts by Sibi K Thomas - Udhay Krishna, will have loads of funny sequences based on the inmates and activities of the asylum. This yet to be titled film is produced by Alwin Antony, will start its shooting by the mid of this year.

Remember, Mohanlal has walked over to superstar status by acting out as an inmate of a mental asylum in the film Thalavattom. This super hit of 1985 was remade recently in the title Kyon Ki in Hindi by Priyadarshan, who has also directed the original.

Seems that Dileep is following Lal in every way, to be at the top.
