Rajini interested in Meera Jasmine film for son-in-law?

Nothing much could go wrong for the career of a young hero when he has a powerful father-in-law like Rajinikanth.

The superstar also has a soft corner for Kannada films. The film that recently caught his attention was the Kannada flick 'Arrasu'. Puneet Rajkumar and Meera Jasmine had played the lead roles. The film had become a big hit in Karnataka. Rumors have started that the superstar is keen on buying the remake rights of the film. If that happens, his son-in-law Danush just might end up playing the lead role in this film.

Coincidentally, Danush is now playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of another Kannada blockbuster named 'Jogi'. Meera Jasmine is the heroine of this film.

It is a well-known fact that Rajinikanth is Danush's rolemodel in films. When Danush's films began to flop, the superstar had suggested him to stick to light-hearted roles and stay away from action.

Like a typical obedient son-in-law, Danush is following the advice. It's working wonders for him!

Why do we have this strange feeling that Meera Jasmine just might end up becoming Rajini's heroine in the near future???
