Devayani is one of those rare heroines who didn't let marriage play spoilsport with their career. In fact, it was only after her marriage that Devayani had become busier.
This time however, she became the superstar of TV megaserials. Now that she has gained so much popularity on the small screen, there were many who wondered if she would bother to return to films.
"It is true that I had been refusing some offers in Malayalam lately. But there is a perfect explanation for it. I was really caught up with my callsheets for 'Kolangal', the megaserial. Then, there is my cute little daughter Iniya who demands my time and attention.
"The role that I'm playing in 'Kolangal' is a very strong and powerful one. Until the serial ends, my life sure is going to be hectic. Afterwards I'm going to be free to accept film offers," she clarified.
Nobody can predict when a megaserial ends, though.
