Simbu's entire bitter episode with Nayantara seems to be backfiring terribly at him. As soon as he returned from the US, for a while it looked as if everything had quietened down between him and Nayantara.
But the dispute took an ugly turn when their intimate pictures surfaced on the internet. Though Simbu denies that he had anything to do with it, rumors are on that he had masterminded the incident to tarnish Nayantara's image forever in Tamil. Fortunately for her, it is not Nayantara who is now facing the consequences.
Simbu now has a spectacular plan to launch a new film. He had approached Bhavana for the lead role. She refused.
It turns out that she was not the only one to refuse the offer. Shreya, the 'Shivaji' heroine, too had declined the offer. Earlier when he was working with Jyothika in 'Manmadan', there were rumors that he was having problems with her too. There even were talks that she was ready to walk out of the film because she wasn't comfortable about the way she was being treated.
Now, that was one consequence that nobody expected.
