About 4 days back, the sudden meeting of Simbu and Dhanush created waves.
They have of course many times at public functions. Earlier, their meetings used to be like 'Agni Nakshatram' Prabhu and Karthik. But on this day, it was full of comraderie like 'Gusti' Prabhu and Karthik.
At a function, Dhanush had said that he and Simbu were good friends. In answer, Simbu has said he would act with Dhanush if the right story was presented to him. In this genial atmosphere when they met, Simbu has told Dhanush, "Isn't it a coincidence that your film is called 'Polladhavan' and my film is called 'Kettavan'? They go well together!"
Simbu asked how about releasing their 2 films for Deepavali as a contest, but Dhanush turned him down. Why is that? Simply because his film would be ready much earlier.
So, he removed his beard and moustache and cut his hair that he had grown for 'Parattai Engira Azhagusundaram.'
