Rumors have slowly started to surface that Sathyan Andhikaat is not all that happy with the way he was forced to select the heroine of his new film.
Dileep, for a long time, had been asking the director to work in a film with him. Finally he relented. His initial choice was the jasmine heroine. Problem was- she was not all that free in those days. She had a film with her favorite 'guruji'. This film was pending for a very long time. Many had actually given up hope about the film. But when its director announced that he was restarting the film, the actress was only too keen to join it.
Due to her shift in priorities, Andhikaat film ran into delays even before it began. Now, Sathyan Andhikaat is the man who brought Nayantara to the screens. It really wouldn't have taken a long time for him to come up with another actress. But, he decided to wait for the jasmine heroine.
There are instances when films' shootings had got delayed and postponed because they weren't able to find a hero. But this time, the crew waited for the heroine!
Suddenly, news surfaced that the other film had been dropped forever. Suddenly, the jasmine actress had a lot of time to spare. She wondered if Andhikaat still was interested in working with her. She sent some feelers out to him. He was ready to forgive and forget the delays.
