It was the gathering of who's who in political and film world for the wedding of Vikram (Prabhu's son and thespian Sivaji Ganesan's grandson) with Lakshmi Ujjaini, daughter of industrialist M S Madhivanan in Chennai.
All the big names in Indian cinema and politics attended the wedding.
The likes of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, popular Telugu actor Balakrishna, Jagapati Babu and Bollywood Super Star Amitabh Bachchan, among others, took part in the wedding.
On Sunday, Union Ministers Palani Manickam, Raja, EVKS Elangovan, G K Vasan and State Minister M K Stalin among others, attended the function.
Several leaders of the political parties including DMDK's Vijayakanth and DPI's Thol Thirumavalavan attended the event.

This is the first function in Sivaji's family since the death of the great man.
