After 'Veyil' became a huge hit, the title seems to have caught people's fancy. We now have a new film titled 'Manjal Veyil.'
Syed I is producing the film for Hasini Films. It is directed by Raja. He is not Jayam Ravi's brother Raja, but one who has worked as assistant to Adhiyaman. This is his first film as director. Story, dialogues and screenplay are by him!
Hero Prasanna and heroine Sandhya work together for the first time. Vivek is the comedy element and Nasser and Nizhalgal Ravi do character roles.
Music is by Bharadwaj, camera by T Anandakumar. Important scenes are being shot in Ooty. Some scenes are being shot in Chennai.
What's the story?
"The sun's golden evening rays are good for the health because it has lot of vitamin D. One has to make the maximum use of this short duration," says the director.
That in short is the essence of the film! We feel as we have been touched by the mid day sun!
