Laila is a pretty young thing with a smile always lurking in her eyes and lips.
Having charmed the Tamil cinema world with her dimpled smile, Laila suddenly got married, settled in Mumbai and stayed out of films. She became a devoted housewife, taking care of her husband and home and cooking delightful dishes. Now she's to become a mother!
The doctor has advised her at least 6 months rest when she's undergoing pregnancy and child birth for the good health of mother and child.
Laila's fans yearn for her to get back to acting. Her response to that is, "I am happily settled in my married life with my husband and eagerly looking forward to the birth of our child. This is the first chapter of my married life. When that is the case, it would be difficult to pay attention to cinema. Maybe I will consider returning to films after my child is 2 or 3 years old."
As she says that with a dimpled smile, we lose our hearts to her all over again!
