Meanwhile, Big B is on the receiving end of some ugly protests and oppositions by many women's organization across the country for his portrayal of the role of a 60-year-old man who falls in love with the 18-year-old girlfriend of his daughter. Ramgopal Varma claims that the film is about the internal conflict that the protagonist faces when he realizes that he had fallen in love with the girl.
But many across the country aren't seeing it that way, especially since the memories of the Nithari serial killings are still fresh in the minds. You can actually blame them for not seeing anything artistic about the film. The protestors targeted both Big B and RGV.
They say that an actor of Amitabh Bachchan's caliber shouldn't have accepted such a role.
